April 2021 Paper Pumpkin - So Cool

Good evening everyone - I wanted to share the full resolution photos that I created using my So Cool Paper Pumpkin kit.  I received this kit on Friday and was able to churn out some happy cards in no time at all.  I love that Paper Pumpkin helps keep my creativity flowing!

The So Cool kit came with 3 each of 4 different designs.  Though untraditional in size, they hold all the promise of sunshine and summer.

Paper Pumpkin is a monthly subscription that comes to your mailbox in a shiny red box.  Inside you will find an exclusive photopolymer stamp set, ink spot, and a kit containing pre-cut dies and cardstocks to make cards or 3d projects, along with adhesives.  All you supply are your scissors and your desire for a little self-care time at a low price.  First time subscribers also get a free acrylic block in their first kit.

For my subscribers, I create a variety of alternative ideas and provide a PDF with images and instructions to make those projects using their kits and some of their own additional supplies.  I also create a make-n-take that I send out as a thank you for subscribing.  Finally, thanks to the virtual world we live in right now, I also hold a virtual Paper Pumpkin Alternatives class for my subscribers and downline on the 4th Monday of the month at 7pm MST.

These were the alternatives I walked my group through tonight.

These two projects were inspired by samples created and shared by Lori Lugauer.

As subscribers, customers also get a card kit that allows them to make one of my alternative designs.  In this case, they can use the provided supplies to make any of these three cards.

These kits will include an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 white card base, 5 1/4 x 4 piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock, 4 1/4 x 2 3/4 Basic White, and 3 x 4 piece of Ice Cream Corner DSP.

While you needed to subscribe by April 10th to get this great kit, you can sign up by May 10th to get the next kit.  That kit, Batter Up, features 9 cards and envelopes that will be perfect for those all star players in your life.

If you sign up on May 7th, you can get this kit for $5 as a new subscriber if you enter HOMERUN0521 in the promo code box!  That's a great deal and I cannot wait to share a photo project with these kit!

April 2021 Virtual Class - Hydrangea Haven

While the last year has been stressful and overwhelming, the opportunity to take my business online and meet the expectations of so many of my long-time customers has been a highlight.  I learned that the bar for electronic opportunities was much lower than I expected and I have had so much fun capturing creativity and spunk in my videos and virtual classes.

Tonight we are meeting for a virtual class to make these great projects.  Some of these projects were inspired by samples from Rachel Tessman who has really helped keep my creativity going when I needed a push.  I love being a part of the demonstrator community where there are so many helping hands!

These projects were kitted and provided for free to my customers and downline that ordered the Hydrangea Haven bundle and Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper.  They were provided all the card pieces and used their bundles, along with either Gorgeous Grape or Highland Heather ink, to create them.  A complete supply list is available below.  They were also given an instruction PDF with all the cuts and directions so they could do it on their own if the technology isn't their friend or they aren't available for the class they earned.  And, since I get my 2nd dose of Pfizer today, so they could do it if I have to cancel because I feel clunky!

Because they also ordered one of the most gorgeous papers we've ever had, they also get to make this cool trifold together using their paper.  This project was taken from a sample created by my incredibly talented mom who always finds a way to turn paper into something beautiful (just like her heart and soul are beautiful!)  I hope that everyone enjoys making this as much as I did.

Supplies:
  • Stamps: Hydrangea Haven
  • Paper: Hydrangea Hill DSP, Misty Moonlight CS, Highland Heather CS, Purple Posy CS, Basic White CS, Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper
  • Ink: Gorgeous Grape or Highland Heather, Misty Moonlight
  • Tools: Hydrangea Dies, Cut & Emboss Machine, Scissors, Water Painters, hole punch, sewing needle, paper piercing pad, coordinating clear acrylic blocks
  • Adhesives: Adhesive, Dimensionals, narrow tear tape or strong adhesive
  • Other: Paper Towel (1 Dry/1 Wet)
I hope you enjoyed the peek at these projects and spend some time this week making your own beautiful creations.

Have a craftastic day,
Stacy
