Countdown to Christmas 2017 - Day 4

This weekend was full of joy and festivities and so many photos!  I'm glad I have my Christmas album all ready using our Memories and More product line so all I have to do is print my favorite photos and slide them into the book! You can see all my layouts for this album here.

For today's project, I'm sharing a quick and easy pizza box that transforms itself into a gift card holder in minutes.  You could also put a cookie or treat in there if you desired!

These boxes are on the holiday carryover list so you will see them show up with birthday themes in my Winter workshops!

For this box, I chose to put a folded 3 x 3 card on the top so that I could write who it was too since I didn't leave room on the top! 

Otherwise, you just fold the box on the score lines and add a 3 1/4 square of Old Olive to the top of the box.  Fold a 6 x 3 piece of Whisper White in half and adhere it to the box with the opening at the bottom.  Add a 3 x 3 piece of Merry Music Specialty DSP to the top and make sure your words are flowing the right way!  Stamp Oh Joy in Smoky Slate on a 2 x 2 3/4 piece of Whisper White.  Add a piece of doily to the back of this with adhesive and adhere to the box.  Finally add a Season of Glitz mini bow and you are all ready to bring Joy to someone this holiday and that's before they even see what's inside!

Supplies:

• Cardstock/DSP:  Old Olive, Whisper White, Merry Music Specialty DSP
• Ink: Smoky Slate
• Stamp Set: Watercolor Christmas
• Accessories: Adhesive, Doily, Season of Glitz Mini Bow, Mini Pizza Box

Today's Countdown to Christmas post is showing two different projects using the same supplies.  This came about after I had designed an acetate box for my Christmas in October class but some that ordered the class to go wanted cards and not the 3D elements.  Thus I took a kit of the supplies and added a folded card base and ended up with this great sample instead.  Aren't they just pretty and peaceful?

I chose this color scheme because Soft Sky matches the tissue paper that comes in our Paper Pumpkin boxes and I thought it was a great way to use it by wrapping up a gift card and sliding it into one of our acetate card holders.
