Simply Elegant Embossed Gift Box

Today's post is a quick one.  It's love and leisure day at McCasa.  Conlyn is out on the golf course enjoying the last good weather day for a while. I'm trying to get caught back up on my Pinterest pinning of my favorite blogs and get a little crafting in with Callie between Disney movies.  We may even make some pumpkin cookies, just so the house smells good of course..... :)

This beautiful box was designed by Cris McCarthy (who I affectionately call Mom).  We completed it at her holiday workshop a few weeks back.  The box holds a lot of cards which I will showcase throughout the next two weeks because Christmas is under TWO MONTHS AWAY!  This is the project that inspired the poinsettias on my last post for Ella's auction.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler
Stamp Set: Joyful Christmas
Ink: VersaMark
Accessories: Big Shot & Cutting Mats, Apothecary Accents, Basic Pearls, Gold Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Powder Pal (retired), Embossing Buddy, Dimensionals, Extra Large Gift Box, Cherry Cobbler 1" Grosgrain Stitched Ribbon, Adhesive, and Scissors

Ideas to fill the box with:
  • A set of homemade cards and envelopes for all occasions
  • A set of notecards and envelopes with a personalized address stamp
  • A yummy combination of home preserves or cookies
  • Anything that will fit in a 4 3/8 x 6 x 6 box
Have a craftastic day,
Stacy

Season of Style Holiday Bundle

While Callie and I have been busy doing Halloween crafts, I wanted to finish getting my holiday samples out in front of you all first before my RSVP date for my great holiday class has passed!

Today's bundle is another offering from my holiday camp.  This bundle features the Gorgeous Grunge and Many Merry Messages stamp sets and the Season of Style DSP Paper Pack.

The card in this bundle is directly inspired by this great creation by Debra Currier, a fantastic designer with a blog I follow. I thought it would look great as a Christmas card and it inspired these other projects using the same stamp sets and papers.

This card is one of my Stamp-a-stack options at 10 for $15.
The gift box is very versatile and makes for a quick way to give a holiday gift.

The tag uses the stripe from the Gorgeous Grunge set.

Last day to RSVP for my holiday camp is September 25th so contact me today if you are interested in a stamp-a-stack or a camp entry. The camp fee is $20.

Sessions are:
Session 1: Friday, October 4th, 10am-1pm (5 slots left)
Session 2: Friday, October 4th, 6pm-9pm (5 slots left)
Session 3: Saturday, October 5th, 10am-1pm (5 slots left)
Session 4: Wednesday, October 30, 10am-1pm (6 slots left)
