Christmas Paper Pumpkin kits sell out really fast and this year was no exception. Here are two additional cards that you can make with a few supplies you may have already bought.
To make these cards, you will need some of the Peaceful Pines DSP. The backgrounds for these cards were made by cutting two of the big tree sheets of the paper. First cut 5 1/4 of the trees off the bottom of the page. Cut those into three 4 x 5 1/4 pieces. Then cut 1 1/2 from the bottom of the sheet that has the tree tops in it. This leaves you with a 5 1/4 x 12 piece of snowflakes. Cut into three 5 1/4 x 4 pieces. Repeat this process with the other 12 x 12 sheet with the same patterns.
- Layer the Peaceful Pines DSP to the front of the white card using adhesive.
- To make the trees, lay the vellum tree outline from the kit over the 3 1/4 x 4 piece of white and your Shaded Spruce ink spot. Using a dauber, ink up the end and apply to the tree area using small swirls or daubing up and down. Try to not move the vellum so your trees don't go all crazy.
- Attach one 3 x 1/2 piece of Shaded Spruce to each side of your trees using adhesive and add the entire piece to the card with adhesive.
- Stamp your saying on the small label and apply to the center of the trees using dimensionals.
- Attach the tree DSP to the folded Shaded Spruce card base with adhesive.
- Punch out a 2" circle from the gray plaid DSP and attach to the card with adhesive.
- Create banner ends in a 5 x 1/2 strip of Shaded Spruce using your scissors or the Triple Banner Punch and attach to the card with adhesive.
- Stamp your sentiment on the large tag using Shaded Spruce ink and attach to the card with dimensionals.
- Add some embellishments if desired.
- Stamp the sentiment of your choice on the 4 x 5 1/4 piece of white and attach to the inside of the card with adhesive.
