Introducing Notes of Kindness Card Kit

Summer is busy.  If you have children, you are trying to get them to stay as busy as they did while in school.  If you don't, you are busy traveling and grateful you don't have little kids anymore to keep busy all summer long.  Either way, people struggle to find time for themselves to craft in the summer because they are on the go.

Stampin' Up! has two solutions to the "I am not home" or "I don't have time" to craft dilemma.  The first is the Paper Pumpkin program that allows you to receive a kit in the mail that you can take with you to craft anywhere.  Whether sitting in the bleachers witnessing splash, I mean, swim lessons or enjoying a little cozy patio overlooking the lake, the Paper Pumpkin kits come with everything you need to make beautiful projects!  You can find more info on that program and sign up at the bottom of this post.

The second are our all-inclusive card kits.  These kits come with the card bases and pieces, decorative envelopes, stamps, adhesive, and ink to make beautiful projects.

These are the samples in the kit.  I did not use the copper twine that came in the box as it's not something I like to add to projects but you have it in there if you like it.

I also made a few alternative samples.  I didn't add any paper to the kits but I did use the Soft Sea Foam ink pad on a few and our returning Blackberry Bliss ink.

Grab your scissors, your kit, and your peace of mind and enjoy these great projects today.

Introducing Call Me Clover

Call Me Clover is the last of the 2018-2020 In Colors.  This shade is darker than Cucumber Crush or Gumball Green.

For this card, I utilized another vase that was created using this technique.

Once I had my vase, I started to build on my 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Very Vanilla.  Using the 2018-2020 In Color DSP Stack, I added a 5 x 1 piece of Grapefruit Grove, then a 3/4 x 3 1/2 piece of Call Me Clover, and a 1/2 x 2 piece of Blueberry Bushel DSP.

I stamped the flower base in Call Me Clover ink on a 1 1/2 x 2 3/4 piece of Very Vanilla.  Then I added a Grapefruit Grove poppy on top of it using the Grapefruit Grove marker.  Finally, I added my vase using mini dimensionals and a bow of Vanilla twine, held by a glue dot.

I finished it off with a Thanks stamped in Call Me Clover ink and called it a good day.

Introducing Pineapple Punch

Grab your sunglasses crafting friends because Pineapple Punch is as bright as the sun outside!  This beautiful yellow is much brighter than Daffodil Delight and makes So Saffron almost look tan next to it.  The greatest thing about this color to me is that it's pops off the page and makes your images look joyous and happy.  It has definitely grown on me!

To make this card, you would use the Blueberry Bushel vases using the tutorial I posted on June 14th.  If you missed it, you can check it out below.

Add a 1 x 4 1/4 piece of 2018-2020 In Color DSP to the upper portion of a folded 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Very Vanilla card.

Cut out a scalloped circle from a 3 x 3 piece of Pineapple Punch and circle from a 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 piece of Very Vanilla.  I used the 3rd largest scalloped circle and the 4th largest circle from the Layering Circles Framelits and my Big Shot.  Add the scallop to the card with adhesive and the circle with dimensionals.

Place the vase on the circle to determine where to put the stems.  Lift it and draw three short stems with the Call Me Clover marker  Add the vase using adhesive.  If it's adhered first, ink may get on the vase from the stems.

Stamp a tulip in the corners of the Pineapple Punch scrap left over from the Big Shot.  Punch out using the Vases Builder Punch.  Add two to the card using adhesive and one using a mini dimensional.

Add a small Linen Thread bow with a glue dot and stamp the entiment at the bottom using Blueberry Bushel.

I used the supplies below to make this project!  If you choose to purchase them via my Online store, please use hostess code 6UNDPMF7 upon checkout.
