This month's Paper Pumpkin kit was called Adoring Arrows. I love this kit but it works perfectly for those moms and dads out there that like to make Valentine's treats with their kids for school or co-workers that like to make treats for holidays or neighbors that just like to say "hey, thanks".
This stamp set has it all for this season. I love how well it will coordinate with our Sending Love products in the Occasions mini and I will be posting another round of samples using that product line next week.
For now, let's take a look at what I made and see if it's something you will use like I will!
For the Valentine's Day card, I took an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Blushing Bride and folded it for the card. I layered the banners on the card using glue dots. I made the arrow using the pieces in the kit and laid it on the card, using one glue dot to hold the middle in place. Stamp your saying, not as hard as I did (see my added love mark) and then put the heart on the card with a dimensional on each side of the dowel so it is flat.
The second card is a 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Whisper White that I stamped with the Calypso ink. I mounted the banners and heart on the 3 x 4 piece of Watermelon Wonder and layered it on the card using dimensionals. Quick and easy. This would look great with some gold accents like sequins or metallic enamel shapes.
Finally, the gift card holder which was born out of an idea to create a flat treat holder that would mail.
