Groovy Stampers June Make-n-Takes

It's First Thursday and that means another Groovy Stampers meeting with my downline and sidelines. I love these meetings because we get a chance to exchange ideas and catch up as friends do!

I try to come up with make-n-takes that are repeatable for workshops and fit into promotions. 

In this case, these two cards show how a cardmaker can use a 4 x 4 piece of DSP in two ways for a workshop.  They also showcase the same stamp set since we all like more than one idea for each set we buy!  Sorry for the crazy messy kitchen - we were busy making memories and cards with our messes!

In Color Combo: Night of Navy, Flirty Flamingo, Daffodil Delight

The first has the DSP cut at an angle and applying to the Crumb Cake card.  I showed a different version of this earlier this week but I wanted to show a few of the stamps in the set during the meeting.

Supplies:

• Cardstock/DSP:
• Ink: Night of Navy, Cucumber Crush, Flirty Flamingo
• Stamp Set: Love and Affection
• Accessories: Pansy Punch, Petite Petal Punch, White Enamel Accent, Adhesive, Dimensionals

In Color Combo: Flirty Flamingo, Cucumber Crush, Whisper White, Crumb Cake

The second has a 1" strip cut off the 4 x 4 square.  Then you flip it over and make a banner end and apply to the card.  This works depending on the pattern on the DSP but I loved how this one turned out!
