Falling for Beautiful You

As I continue to share samples of this stamp set, I have to give a shout out to all the amazing women in my life.  I've been lucky to have such a great mother, sister, aunt, and mother in law to teach me love and motherhood skills and about sacrifice.  My grandmas were both extraordinary women who I wish I could know now better as an adult.  My daughter is the best example of a beautiful woman as everyday she becomes more and more comfortable with herself and more and more giving and kind.  To the girlfriends in my Village who hold my heart and my hand, to the teachers in my life that challenged and inspired, to the customers that ignite my creativity, and to the writers that give me hope with their words and their words of encouragement, I thank all of you.  You make the world a brighter and more beautiful place just by being you.

I'll get to the great men in my life when I post my Urban Underground samples.  :)

For today's card, I played a bit with the watercolor paper and aquapainter.  I stamped the happy figure in Archival Black ink.  To color her body, I pushed on the center of the Blushing Bride ink pad until the ink transferred to the lid.  Then I used an aquapainter to pick up the color and colored her dress.  She's mounted on the Falling in Love DSP on a Very Vanilla card.  I also stamped the saying in Archival Black and cut out using the Stitched Shapes framelits.  The card is finished off with a knot of 1/4 Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon.
