Gratitude Abounds

Today is the Coyote Open, a golf tournament to raise money for student scholarships at The College of Idaho.  Now my passions in life are for my family and friends, my creativity, and my alma mater.  I love the feeling that I get when I step foot on campus, when a see a student succeeding, when I feel my mind stretched by a former classmate or professor, or when I just am reminded of all the things in my life that I have because of my time there.  It makes me feel grateful every day and today's card is about celebrating gratitude and spending time together!


I love the Painted Autumn suite in the holiday catalog.  It coordinates together so great and the new leaf punch is one of my favorite Stampin' Up! products to date!

For this card, I used the leaf punch scrap and cut it out using the Stitched Shapes Framelits.  I layered together two pieces of Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper (DSP) and tied off with some linen thread.  Then I elevated my leaf with some gold glimmer behind it. I love this look and I think those that enjoy scraps will appreciate this type of layout and card!
