Merry Little Christmas Album

Time to post my Christmas album!  This album was made using the Merry Little Christmas Memories and More card pack, 6 x 8 Kraft Album, and a set of the 6 x 8 Page Protectors.  When you see a Summer Starfruit rectangle, that is where I imagined a photo to go that was either 4 x 6 or 3 x 4.  Enjoy and I hope you see how easy Memory Keeping can be for this holiday season!

Please note that this album only uses ONE of each of the cards in the kit.  While it does utilize some of the specialty cards, it means you are left with a complete set of the normal cards and could make either another similar album or a set of the Christmas cards that I will showcase here tomorrow!

The cover features our beautiful 7/8 striped ribbon.  I adhered one of the specialty cards onto the cover with Tear and Tape and then layered the Merry and Bright card over it with adhesive as well.  I added some of the silver stickers on the album to complete the cluster.

For the front page, I cut a 6 x 8 piece of Cherry Cobbler and layered the vertical Favorite Things with adhesive.  Then I added a few of the stickers from the card pack to the corners.  This is where I will capture my favorite memories of the season.

The back of the front page has another vertical journaling card applied with adhesive.  The right page has a 3 x 4 photo in the lower corner and I layered a silver overlay on the green striped card on the top with a scrap from the Cherry Cobbler.

Nothing special on this page - just photos that highlight trimming the tree which is always a great time over here.

For this page, I cut the Winter Wonderland out of a card and plan on either laying it on the 4 x 6 or I will put a photo on that mat and then put the words in the lower corner.  You can play with this as you need!  I planned for lots of snow pictures this year.

This spread is dedicated to events in the "city" or out and about with friends and family. I like to keep the color schemes consistent from page to page which is easy to do with this kit.

This layout is for our visit with Santa and time at the Discover Center.  I cut the Santa Clause out of a card to use on this layout after we have our horizontal photo.  You could also use this layout for holiday parties if you weren't catching a glimpse of St. Nick this year.

This layout is for crafts and cooking traditions.  We always make pretzels and lots of homemade ornaments during the season so I liked the idea of capturing the fun and wonder of the season through their eyes on this page.

More snow pictures - let's be honest - I think we will need them.  But you could also do photos of events like Winter Garden Aglow if you are local or the College of Idaho Tree Lighting on November 27th if you are a local alumni!  GO YOTES!  I layered a 3 x 4 card on the 4 x 6 card for this one.

This spread is for family time on Christmas Eve or anytime that they are home.  Again, I cut up a card to have the Christmas Eve saying and will layer it on top of the page protectors using dimensionals after I have the photos placed.

This is my Christmas Day page.  I can put our family picture from that morning in it and a few of the kiddos opening gifts.

This is another "Joy of the holidays" spread for any festive times you have and want to remember.

This layout was designed for our adult parties through the season with work and friends.  We tend to have lots of spirits that make our cheeks rosy and bright....

And finally a wrap up page.  This is typically where I will put my favorite photo of the season and highlight it with a journaling card.

Remember that you can also print other sized photos and layer them on the 3 x 4 cards as desired.  It all depends on your photos and experiences.  I'm just here to show you how easy it can be to snap, print, and place!

The best Paper Pumpkin kits of the year come during the holidays, in my opinion!  This year, Stampin' Up! is trying something new and giving us TWO months of holiday kits in October and November and they will coordinate.  If you didn't order by October 10th, you won't be able to get the first kit at your door but you can still subscribe by November 10th to get the second one.  These kits will help you get your card and gift making started off right!

Paper Pumpkin is creativity in a box.  It costs $19.95 plus tax and ships to your mailbox once a month.  It contains everything you need for your own creative escape.  Besides the instructions and pieces for the cards or project, it also contains ink and photopolymer stamps and usually the adhesive you need as well.  My subscribers will also get a project sheet with tips and additional ideas and instructions that they can make with the supplies in the kits and sometimes some supplemental supplies.  Plus I try to send one of the alternative ideas out to everyone in the mail so you get two fun surprises in the mail each month!  Sign up by the 10th of the month to get that month's kit!

There are two ways to sign up.
October's Pining for Plaid kits will go on sale today at 2pm MST so get them while supplies last!

Subscribers can also have access to all my past project sheets!
