Sale-a-Bration is an Epic Celebration

Today I am posting the first of three cards made using this combo. This is the card that started it all. I wanted a boy birthday card for a musician friend's son. I wanted some patterns but nothing too complicated since I wanted to cut out the guitar and I only had a few minutes.

To make this, layer a 5 1/4 x 4 piece of Very Vanilla on a folded 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 piece of Tranquil Tide. Add a 1 3/4 x 2 3/4 piece of the plaid to the card about 3/4" from the right side. Stamp the Epic statement in Night of Navy. Add the 1 x 4 piece of DSP to the left side (again, about 3/4 from the side). Stamp the guitar in Night of Navy ink on a scrap of Vanilla and cut out. Layer on the card using dimensionals.

Supplies:

Cardstock/DSP: Very Vanilla, Tranquil Tide, True Gentleman DSP
Ink: Night of Navy
Stamp Set: Epic Celebrations (SAB Level 1)
Accessories: Adhesive, Scissors, and Dimensionals

Today's card share took under a minute to make. I find these are the kinds of cards I need sometimes but never have on hand so I liked the option of being able to make a quick and thoughtful card to send a few heartfelt wishes. You could bling this up with rhinestones and layering but it's what's inside these cards that matters most.
