Paper Pumpkin Alternatives - December 2021 - Lots of Pun

You know the saying "Better late than never..." Well, I guess good things come to that lose their kits for a while. With all the covid things happening around me, I needed an outlet to boost my mood and finally pulled out this really punny set.  I thought that it would just work for kids but was surprised when I realized how much the little jokes and images made me smile.  I started thinking of friends and family that could also use a little spontaneous laughter or at least a head shake and the list got really long really fast!

These cards all utilize either stamps or pieces from the December 2021 Paper Pumpkin kit, Lots of Pun.  The kit itself came with supplies to make 9 cards, 3 each of 3 designs.  It also came with an Early Espresso ink spot, instructions, envelopes, twine, and adhesive.  First time subscribers would have also received a clear block in their kit.

These are the samples that came with the kit.  They really are adorable.

Here are my alternatives. Subscribers with me will receive a pdf with dimensions and instructions for each of these cards so they can make them on their own.  While you can no longer get this kit, you can sign up by the 10th of the month to receive the next great kit.  Then join me for the 4th Monday of the month (or 5th for January) and see all my alternative ideas.  I'd love to have you join us!

These first few are done with the Daffodil Delight, Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler, and Crumb Cake Blends Combos.  I did them so that they would layer on Notecards but also liked them on regular sized card fronts.

For this group, I cut up one set of the cards included in the kit.  Doesn't that egg look like a flower when it's not stamped?

This group all has elements of a set of cut up envelopes.

This card features the December Layout of the Month (remember, better late than never).  The DSP is from the envelope and the Pool Party piece is what was trimmed off.  Peeking out the back is the square from the kit.  I used the label to help me cut the corners to the same rounded shape.

Finally, this one is just a different design on the front of one of the included cards and the bananas are colored with Daffodil Delight Blends and Dark Crumb Cake.

I hope you liked these samples and will join me later this month when I post my January alternatives.
