When Stampin' Up! started selling My Paper Pumpkin, I bought it as a demonstrator because I thought it would make it easier to sell. I let them pile up because I was too busy working on other projects and had a "I'll get to it later" attitude. Now that I've had Michael, I've realized My Paper Pumpkin provides me a window of craft time that is otherwise impossible these days. The last three months of kits have been my favorites by far as they have let me create cards and projects for the holidays instead of my typical any occasion crafting. And, the kits can be used for cards or 3D decor items which makes them even easier to fit my mood.
This week I'll be posting projects using Pinwheel Party, the newest Paper Pumpkin kit.
I had a lot of fun warming up with the Pinwheel project which is outlined in the instructions. After the goodie bag, I was feeling brave and decided to try a card. After the love note, I thought I needed an album for my cute 4th of July pictures of Callie. Here I almost derailed and tried to go to Project Life to do all the cute pictures I found while filling that album but I stayed on course and finished up with a fun 4th of July wreath. With my goal this year to create and post 5 projects with every stamp set or kit that I buy, this showed me how great a value the kit was for only $19.95. Plus I still have 15 pinwheels, 19 straws, 18 cello bags, and a lot of banners, twine, brads, and clips left to play with on other projects and to use with Callie Craft Time.Plus, each Paper Pumpkin kit comes with an ink spot (Night of Navy) and a set of Photopolymer stamps (celebrate, party, and stars) so I can keep creating long after I use up what's in my kit.
I hope you tune back in this week while I offer up some instructions and details on these projects and also some tips to stamping with the photopolymer stamps.
I hope you have a great crafting weekend!
Have a craftastic day,
Stacy
