A Week of Tag Talk - Bravo

Now that the new catalog is out, my stamp room is overrun by new supplies getting to know the old supplies.  The introductions have been going well and my creativity has been in overdrive.  This catalog is by far my favorite in the 10 years I've been demonstrating.  So many things to choose from!

Often we purchase stamp sets and do not know what to do with them when we get them in the mail.  I purposely designed this card class for this single stamp set because it stood out to me in the catalog and I sketched it out based on the colors and new products I thought coordinated with the sentiments. That kept me from being overwhelmed by all my options.  :)   I love our stamp and punch combinations and the sentiments on this set make it a great one to have in your stash.

These five cards that I will be posting this week are part of my summer Tag Talk card class.  I will be teaching this class a few times at my house over the summer but can also prep it and teach it to you and your family and friends for $10 a kit.  Leave me a comment or email me if you are interested in setting up a class of your own!

This first card made me think of embossing right off the bat.  I love the shine that comes from an embossed image and the horizontal strips really pop in person.

I also like using my punches as many ways as possible so you will see that the four corners of the Basic Black square are punched using the upper corner of the Bracket punch.

The strip of horizontal paper and text paper are from new Typeset pack which has 24 sheets of really thin paper in 6 double-sided designs. This paper made me think of vintage flowers (which is what I'm working on next!)

Supplies:
  • Papers: Typeset DSP, Very Vanilla, Basic Black
  • Stamp Set: Tag Talk
  • Ink: VersaMark
  • Accessories: Neutral Candy Dots, Bracket Punch, Hexagon Punch, Black Embossing Powder, Powder Pall, 1" Square Punch, Dimensionals, Scissors, and Adhesive
