As part of my Paper Pumpkin team, my subscribers get a card in the mail that they can keep or reuse that features the stamp set and some of the elements of the kit when possible. This card features the stamp set and washi tape. They also get to preview the Eastern Palace DSP and Lemon Lime Twist ink which is available for pre-order in May to customers as part of a bundle! That is normally a perk reserved to demonstrators so I'm excited to see this come up for customers too. Read more about it below!
Back to the card, I used two 1 x 3 1/2 pieces of the Eastern Palace DSP and then used the washi tape from the Paper Pumpkin kit on it. Because the washi tape can be waxy, I used Tear and Tape under the banner to adhere it to the card. Speaking of the card itself, the base of the card is a Very Vanilla notecard, another new offering in the upcoming catalog! I'm not as sad to see the Crumb Cake notecards go now that I know what is replacing them!
Supplies:
- Cardstock/DSP: Very Vanilla, Eastern Palace DSP (new!)
- Stamp Set: A Sara Thing
- Ink: Dapper Denim and Lemon Lime Twist (new!)
- Accessories: Very Vanilla notecard and envelope, Washi Tape from A Sara Thing kit, Dapper Denim 3/8 Ruched Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tear and Tape
I recorded a few videos to help with this month's Paper Pumpkin kit also. This first one is a few tips aimed at new subscribers with limited experience with our products.
The second one is designed to help eliminate the halo that comes from using the splatter stamp. I figured if I kept doing it, my customers were going to have the same problem!
If you have any questions at all about your own Paper Pumpkin kit, please leave me a comment or email me!
