A Week of Wish Big - Tags and More

This week I'll be sharing our newest Paper Pumpkin kit with everyone.  The first two samples are the ones outlined in the instructions with the kit.  I needed a birthday card and box so this was perfect timing!

This kit came with a Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Spot, 6 cards with embellishments, 12 die cut tags, 6 boxes, and a bunch of sticky die cuts.  It also included a sheet of silver stars, a spool of White 5/8 Satin Ribbon, and White Baker's Twine.  The stamp set was this AWESOME 10 piece photopolymer set!

As for my unique samples, I started with the cards so I could use the leftovers on the tags.  I recommend using a ruler when putting these cards together to keep the Wish straight.  I had a really hard time with that and kept having to reposition them.  I also recommend using the Fabric Scissors on the Satin ribbon to keep it from fraying.

I'm showing the tags I made first though so that you can see how they would work if put on a card like a future sample.

Couple of tips:
  • You can use the stars on the tags like stencils and then use the Stampin' Spot to color the tag.
  • Cut up the strips of lines to make banners
  • Use dimensionals to pop up dimensions on the cards
  • Use the Embossing Buddy to rub on the back of the die cuts that overhang off the tags - this will take the sticky off so they won't stick where you don't want them too!

Stay tuned this week for four more card ideas!
