Today is a very special day for me. Actually for my parents. Today is their 43rd wedding anniversary. I cannot believe they are old enough to be married that long but I guess considering that I'm in my late 30s, that makes sense! My parents taught me what love is and I can live my life out with my husband without ever wondering if I settled, even if I do wish he'd clean a bathroom every once in a while like my dad does.... :)
But why does that story connect to today's card? Because my parents taught me to WISH BIG and when I did, I found the love of my life just like they both did. And I'm thrilled that my two children will get to have this same feeling in the future when they see their daddy and me still so happy after that many years together too!
I didn't use any of the twine or ribbon on this card - I spent all my energy trying to get that WISH on there straight! The star is up on a dimensional. Easy peasy, as Callie would say!
