My Paper Pumpkin - Starter Kit Samples

With the great My Paper Pumpkin promotion going on, I thought it might be a good idea to show the content of the kits that have been received so far and some ideas of what to do with them!

I'm starting with the my Starter Kit projects since no matter when you sign up, this is the kit that you receive the first month.  This kit has two stamps, a Basic Gray stampin' spot, supplies for 4 cards, and a clear block that you will need for all future cards.

I've sent one of my cards out already so I only have three to post. However, the card I sent out is exactly like the picture on the front of the kit when it comes!  These three cards were made using only the supplies in the kit and my Stampin' Trimmer!

This card is very similiar to the sample in the instructions but is horizontal instead of vertical.

This one has the embellishment cluster in the top corner and the paper turned so the darkest So Saffron polka dots are on the left.

For this card, I cut the background paper in half with my trimmer and rearranged the die cuts.  I love this card.

Craftastic Notes:
  • I also used a little strip of the patterned paper that was left from the die cut sheet to put in the center of each of the buttons.
  • For the last card, I dragged the Stampin' Spot around the outside of the background paper so that it would show up against the other piece of background paper.
  • If you use the buttons on the cards, you will need to add extra postage to mail.  You can take a piece of chipboard or crimped cardstock to put in the envelope with your card to make it easier for the sorter at the post office.
Click Join My Paper Pumpkin from the top of my blog for more information about the current promotion and how to join us for only $10 a month (plus tax) for the first two months!

Stay tuned tomorrow for samples from the June hexagon kit!

Have a craftastic day,
Stacy
