Thankful for Boxes

I have another great project from Convention to show you all.  We will be making something like this at my Holiday camp on October 5th but Christmas themed!

 

I love these little boxes - they measure 6 7/8" x 2-1/8" x 2-1/2" and are food safe!  They come with a clear sleeve that you can slide over the box bottom.  In this case, SU! designed a piece of cardstock scored at 1" from each long side to slide over the top of the box before you put on the clear sleeve.  That helps hide the wonderful gift on the inside!

 

The make-n-take also had these cool feathers.  To make them, you take a circle punch and punch out a circle.  Then put that circle back in and cut it into more of an oval.  Fold in half and cut with your Paper Snips (or scissors) towards the middle.  Then when you open it up, it will feather like a feather.  These were made using the 2 1/2 circle punch and 1 3/4 circle punch.

 

The stamp is stamped on the Bermuda Bay cardstock piece in Bermuda Bay.  Then it was cleaned and stamped in Crisp Cantaloupe on a scrap and just the You're The Best was cut out and attached on the top using a dimensional.  The final touch is a piece of Summer Starfruit Satin Ribbon tied around it in a knot.
