Easy Halloween Treat Holders

With all the spooktacular savings right now with Stampin' Up!, I thought I'd post my Halloween class projects over the next few days.  I love it when I get to teach a class where everyone is excited to do it, regardless of what the projects are.  That seems to happen every year for Halloween and it might be my favorite holiday to create with for that exact reason!

The first project we did was a cute treat holder.  These are a fast and easy treat container to use for any holiday, but really easy for the kids to do with you for class treats!  Here are the instructions and I hope you enjoy making them!

• Score a 3 1/2 x 6 3/4 piece of Pumpkin Pie at 3" & 6".
• Apply Tape and Tear to the left and right sides of the middle panel.  Fold the bottom up to make a pocket.
• Adhere the 2 1/4 x 3 1/2 piece of DSP to the middle panel.  
• Fold the top panel (3/4") down and adhere.  Then wrap with the 13" of Black Shimmer Ribbon.  Tie in a knot and cut the ends.
• Cut the end of the orange DSP (2 x 1/2) at an angle and attach to the bottom of the treat holder.
• Stamp Eat at your own Risk in archival black ink on the scrap of Pumpkin Pie and punch out with the 1" circle punch.  Mount on the treat with a dimensional.
• Add a small black rhinestone and tuck your candy in the pocket.

• Cardstock/DSP: Pumpkin Pie, Spooky Night DSP
• Ink: Memento Black
• Stamp Set: Spooky Cat
• Accessories: 1" Circle Punch, 12" Basic Black 3/8 Shimmer Ribbon, Black Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Scissors, Adhesive
