Celebrating Creativity - Day 12

Didn't realize this didn't post so you get TWO posts today.....

While it felt a lot like summer today, with the mermaid-themed birthday party we attended, I chose to post a project dealing with a chillier time of the year.  I am in a Christmas swap at Convention and I chose to make the most of the papers and accents in our new catalog.

The "Celebrate" is from the Expressions Natural Elements pack.  It comes with 5 Celebrate, Congrats, and Thanks and they are super fun to stamp on or ink up or use as is.  That's 15 pieces to play with for only $5.00.

For this card, I inked the Celebrate with White Stazon ink.  Once dried, it's added to the card using glue dots.  I tried to use the multi-purpose glue but my blood sugar must have been too low since I was awfully shaky trying to keep a thin line.  The glue dots worked great.   A very fun card for the holiday if I do say so myself!  The strip of DSP is 1/4".

Supplies:
  • Cardstock/DSP: Whisper White, Smoky Slate, Merry Moments DSP
  • Ink: White Stazon
