Because I'll be jumping out here with updates as Convention occurs, I'm going to focus on posting samples from the Watercolor Wishes Card kit this week. The card kit includes supplies to create 20 cards, 2 ink spots, and a stamp set and clear block.
I made a few changes on mine from the instructions because I wanted to use my White Accents instead of using all the sequins from the kit. I've been using sequins a lot lately and decided to give my hands (and eyes) a little break!
These cards are 3 1/2 by 5 and include envelopes. I made the following changes from the instructions:
- I colored the wooden butterfly with the Calypso Coral Stampin' Spot. Warning - this takes a while to dry so don't put your finger in it unless you have white accents to cover it up. :)
- I added white accents where the sequins should be.
- I moved the wooden heart element up above the saying - I'm still getting the hang of how to add those to cards.
