Celebrating Creativity - Day 13

Today's post is really today's post.  :)

As I'm busy sharing my Convention swaps, I wanted to share a fun little project that came together as I was working on Happy Birthday cards for all Callie's friends.  This card is for a masculine swap at Convention.  While not necessarily manly, it is "little manly" and little boys like my son LOVE anything that flies in the air!

This new Schoolhouse Designer Series Paper (DSP) is really bright and fun to play with.  The colors are perfect for BSU fans and the colors are great for boys.  The strips of DSP are 5 x 1 and 4 x 2 1/2.  The center panel can be whatever you'd like it to be but mine was 2 1/4 x 3 and the parachute is popped on a dimensional.  I put a 5 1/4 x 4 piece of Garden Green on the inside of the card for writing the messages.  Whisper White would work to.  I colored in the Happy Birthday with the Tangerine Tango marker and the little army man with the Garden Green marker.

Supplies:
  • Cardstock/DSP: Basic Black, Garden Green, Whisper White, Tangerine Tango, Schoolhouse DSP
  • Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black ink
  • Stamp Set: Boys will be Boys
  • Accessories: Tangerine Tango Marker, Garden Green Marker, Regals Candy Dots, Dimensionals, Scissors, Banner Punch, and Adhesive
