Since I've been focused on using scraps, I thought today I'd share the two holiday notecards I've created for my holiday camp in November.  I got fixated on using the tree punch, likely because it's the only thing I didn't buy from the holiday mini this time around.  I wanted to use the punch on one card and the punched piece on the other.  I tried to use embossing folders and ribbons and other embellishments on these but in the end, I liked the clean and simple look.  After all, quick and easy is perfect for the holidays when we all have so much going on and our Notecards with Envelopes make that really easy.

 

The first card was inspired by a card I saw on www.stampinup.com. 

 

Supplies:

• Cardstock: Mossy Meadow (3 1/2 x 2 3/4), Cherry Cobbler (3 3/4 x 3, star), Under the Tree DSP (2 x 3)
• Ink: Cherry Cobbler
• Stamp Set: Good Greetings
• Accessories: Crumb Cake Notecard & Envelope, Tree Punch, Itty Bitty Accessory Punch Pack,  Dimensionals, and Adhesive 

The second card uses the tree we punched out for the first card.  I like the contrast with the Mossy Meadow and the shine of the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper.

• Cardstock: Whisper White (3 1/4 x 1), Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper (4 x 1/4, star), All is Calm DSP (4 x 1), Mossy Meadow (scrap tree from other notecard)
• Ink: Mossy Meadow
• Stamp Set: Good Greetings
• Accessories: Whisper White Notecard & Envelope, Tree Punch, Itty Bitty Accessory Punch Pack, Basic Rhinestones, Hexagon Punch, Silicon Mat, Dimensionals, Adhesive, and Scissors
